Service Description

Available only during the rainy season, it offers a chance to see the rice terraces at their most beautiful, vibrant green and full of life. We’ll travel about 2 hours from Chiang Mai to a Karen village surrounded by mountains and rice fields. During this experience, you’ll live simply, eating local meals, sleeping in a basic homestay without air conditioning, and sharing daily life with others. It’s a warm, communal experience that brings you closer to nature and the Karen people’s way of life. Please note that this tour is not suitable for those who prefer privacy or modern comfort. Tour Duration 8:00 AM (Day 1) – 3:00 PM (Day 2) (approximately) Season: Available from August to October (Every weekend) Meeting Point : Bandzlam (available on Google Maps) Activities • Cook and share local meals • Experience simple living in a traditional Karen homestay • Relax and enjoy nature surrounded by mountains and rice fields Notes • This tour requires a minimum of 4 participants. If fewer than 4 people book, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled. • The maximum number of participants per group is 9 people. • Private tours are available; please note that pricing will differ. • This tour is available only during the rainy season. • Accommodation is in a basic homestay without air conditioning; please be prepared for simple living conditions. And you will be sharing accommodation with other guests. • Meals included are local, traditional dishes; please inform us in advance of any dietary restrictions. • This experience is not suitable for infants, toddlers, or those requiring modern comforts or privacy. • You should be prepared to get wet and a little muddy. • The itinerary may change due to weather or local conditions.

1. Booking and Payment • A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received. • Prices are quoted in Thai Baht and include only what is specified in the tour description. 2. Dress Code • Wear appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for the type of tour. • For temple visits, modest attire is required: shoulders and knees should be covered. 5. Personal Belongings and Safety • The company is not liable for loss, theft, or damage of personal items during the tour. 6. Weather Conditions • Tours may be rescheduled or cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Safety of participants is the top priority. 7. Tour Schedule • All tour times are approximate and may vary due to factors such as traffic, weather conditions, or operational requirements. • The company reserves the right to adjust the schedule as necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
